We’ve been busy over the summer, working to improve your libraries for the new academic year…
Here’s a photo of some of the recent moves at the Holbeach Campus Library:
We’ve made the following changes which we hope will improve your experience of using the Library:
- A self-service machine (set to go ‘live’ in Semester A), so you’ll be able to borrow and return books yourself, even when the Library is unstaffed;
- A new, dedicated library help desk area;
- Soft, movable seating for flexible group work and discussion;
- A wall-mounted display screen for presentations;
- (Not in photo) a dedicated I.T. area with dry-wipe board, and no reduction in the number of available PCs.
We hope you’ll like the changes and find the revamped Library a pleasant and useful place to work at Holbeach.
Stand by for news and photos of the developments in our libraries at the other campuses…
